Film Screenings

ArtEcon has hosted film screenings in partnership with organizations and individuals. Past events have included screenings of:

• Winnie, a documentary film by Pascale Lamache about Winnie Mandela. The event was hosted by Thabisa Rich, a local musician originally from South Africa, and presented in partnership with the Westville Village Renaissance Alliance.

• Testimonials, a project of Nasty Women CT, in light of the #MeToo movement, presents a collection of stories from those who wanted to share.

• Our Mother Earth, a screening of three films over the course of 3 months, that focused on the environment, presented in partnership with Best Video Film and Culture Center.
